During my recent stay at Fuente El Hayedo, I was welcomed by Teresa, the heart and soul of this charming hotel. Her kindness made the experience special, as she ensured every detail of our stay was perfect. The room I stayed in was spotlessly clean and featured a good bathtub, perfect for easing the aches of a long day's hike in the stunning Picos de Europa. With expansive views overlooking the serene garden, I found joy in observing the sunset and moonrise, moments that were made even more magical by the tranquil setting 800 meters above the bustling town. Although the walk back up from the town was a bit of a workout, the charming atmosphere of the area and Teresa's warm hospitality made it worth every step. For nature lovers and those seeking a cozy retreat, Fuente El Hayedo is a hidden gem that I wholeheartedly recommend.
